day three....

if i make it a week, i'll give myself a treat (possibly the treat of considering myself a real live journal-er)

training isn't terribly entertaining, especially when training is for something one has done before.  In good news I randomly wandered into my professor, and it looks like we'll have a syllabus by Monday, just in time for the first class Wednesday.  :D

And I discovered that while I bitched high and low (and far and wide) about the walk to and from the guest house in Yokohama this summer, I was able to recreate it in my neighborhood!  there were stairs, there were hills, there were very breathless doggies.  I felt accomplished.  I hope the will to keep this up stays with me into the future.  I was doing pretty well last year, I think until it got colder and I got lazy.

a friend of a friend has asked me about 'that erotic fanfic stuff' - he's a very liberal male, and so i gave him a couple of het stories and a couple of slash, but probably way too much information about fandom history and the like. 's interesting, because in the past i've done this kind of thing only with women (and not very many women at that).  any suggestions?
