It's raining, it's pouring.....
I had this whole list of things I had to do outside of the house today but it's raining like cats and dogs. And ok, those of you who don't live in la-la-land will probably scoff at me for not wanting to go out in the rain, but the great thing about living here is if you just wait long enough it'll stop. And that everyone drives like an idiot in the rain here. Also, because it doesn't happen that often the businesses aren't set up for rain, so there aren't very many overhangs, no rain catches, and no one puts out mats that do any real good.

Besides, even when I lived in texas i loved having rainy days where i stayed home, cuddled up with the puppy, and drank hot chocolate ;).

i hope all of you are tucked in on this lovely sunday too!

It's been raining off and on here too and the skies have been so grey that all you want to do is cuddle up and ignore the world, maybe nap on and off.

On the plus side, it was wings for lunch and then cuddling on the couch with the beagles reading fanfic and listening to music. Not a bad lazy Sunday. :)

Mmm, a lazy Sunday sounds lovely! My Sunday has been unusually active yet also insanely awesome: Woke up late, cleaned the kitchen, and then the roommate and I turned on like 7 albums worth of Christmas music, unpacked the decorations, set up the tree, and generally blissed out with the spirit.

Oh yeah, and then I went to the store to buy wine, penne, prosciutto, parmigiana reggiano, and heavy cream, cooked up an insanely decadent dinner, and watched a pretty bad movie. We're currently cleansing our palates with...More Christmas Music!

Now that's what I call a self-indulgent day! :D

RE: Christmas Early

I'm a sucker for holiday music (pref. Big Band sound). That music flips a switch in my heart, and BAM--it's Christmas nonstop until January.

And for a more practical reason, this is the only weekend both me and the roommate will be in town at the same time before December 17th. So, best just to get it done now.
